Christmas Day and not much open. IHOP saved the day although on a limited menu; breakfast only or the Christmas Special Dinner. I opted for the eggs benedict. Place was busy but not packed, all staff were very attentive. Cleanliness: 5 Service: 4 Men's room: 4 Food quality: 3 Service was good, one ding since she served coffee but didn't notice cream was not on the table. One ding on the bathroom because they don't use paper towels, just an anemic hand-blower, I hate those. Kitchen missed a special order so meal had to be remade. Waitress caught it, very attentive, but one ding off overall due to kitchen oversight and long wait for meal to be remade.

We meet here annually on the first day of school. I have continued to call in advanced every year to give a friendly reminder they will be busier than usual. I continue to get the same response, it's first come first serve, and they will do what they can. The extra staff request is never well received and they complain they didn't know they were going to have a large party. The staff today was quite rude. Telling us she is the only one available to assist us (party of 20+) and she can't separate orders so if parties are at different table we will have to pay individually, request for drinks had to be made more than once, no follow up after food delivery, no drink refills, and a very short attitude. Wish the kids would choose a different location.... It's now a tradition. Food is okay, service is horrible.

Made the mistake of coming on Saturday morning and it seemed like everyone coming down 75 to Disney was here. Check in process is confusing...no one is attending a hostess stand, just a check in form. The atmosphere and service is what you would expect at IHOP but waiting 45 minutes for our food didn't make anything better. The food is pretty good, which I guess is why I came anyway...

Please allow me to apologize for the unpleasant experience. Certainly, we failed to provide you with the caring quality service that IHOP is known for. Feedback from our guests is an important tool in evaluating staff, identifying food and service issues, and improving restaurant operations. On the rare occasions when something like this happens, we review our staffing and training to minimize the possibility of it happening again. Although there are shifts when a salaried manager is not present, we do have certified shift leaders on duty, and they should have responded to your needs. Mr. Butcher, we hope that you will allow IHOP restaurants another opportunity to earn your patronage. Thank you again for contacting us, and kindly accept my apology for unpleasant visit. It's 9 am on a weekday, its not crowded or overly busy. This situation is given me the opportunity to unwind before a stressful day. New menus, however I stay with the chicken omelette and side of pancakes with OJ. The new menu looks to have or displays a more healthy approach to breakfast. The new waffle push, is something I need to try, but maybe next tome ......

Please save yourself and don't come here. The place is gross and the food is scary. You can tell they rarely clean the grills, much less dust the fixtures.

Yesterday we were traveling from Naples Florida with 2 of our Grandchildren a very hyper 2 year old little girl and a 4 year old boy. Weather had been rainy also. When I walked in the waitress could tell I was a little frazzled. 2 of the waitresses were great they entertained 2 very active Grandkids so we could eat in peace for a little bit. The kids Loved the attention and made our dinner more enjoyable. Thanks to the 2 waitresses.

Not very friendly or attentive at entrance. Quickly seated and served. Service was great, food was as expected. Kinda crammed into a small booth (hubby's a muscular guy) def needed more space. Coffee was absolutely terrible, didn't even drink 1/4 cup! Watched a table being cleaned (not very well) and got grossed out that people were seated with yuck still on it!

We have all heard about southern hospitality, well I guess whomever was issuing it must have run out by the time they reached this iHOP at Lake City, FL. I walked up to the counter to be seated and literally 3 employees and the manager walked up to the counter, looked at me or right through me and did not even greeted me or even acknowledge that I was standing there. Another customer was leaving and a lady asked them if they were ready to check out, at that point I indicated that I must be painted on the wall, because no one sees me. Mind you the other customer was standing behind me. I was then told to sign my name up on a clipboard to be seated. I guess I must have known that this is the procedure at this unfriendly place. I ended up with the second person that ignored me as the waitresses. I made sure that my tip did not exceed 15%. It should have been a 2% tip if at all. Service goes a long ways with me as the overall experience at an establishment like this. They have a long ways to go, but i will not return to check if they improve and recommend others do the same. Skip this place and spend your money elsewhere, avoid the aggravation. I notice that customers that came after me, were receiving the same welcoming - none! You figure it out if you want to eat.
